Never again

Pete,

I remember when my Bible Knowledge teacher, Ms. Moey, noticed that we didn't take note on what she was discussing with the class on the book of Acts. She then told us a reminder that until today I never forget. She said:"Regardless of our age, we can never depend on our minds, we can never depend on our mental memory. Our human minds easily fades like the wind. I know that I am of old age, of course definitely I can't remember much things. In order for me to remember the things I should do, I take notes. I will take the trouble and quickly write in a place where I will routinely check what I must do, the ideas and the findings I took noticed, I will quickly jot down in a notebook."

She then turn to us with a strong tone, perhaps a strict reminder to us young 16 and 17 year old's in her class that day in MCKL. She said: "Therefore, as young people, you must make a habit to write down and take important notes, never depend on your minds, you'll forget immediately after class."

Her words rang into my head today, as I recently had troubles remembering many important things, especially today DATED 17 MARCH 2014, I lost my staff ID CARD. (Not birthdays) Lately, I tend to forget where I placed my personal things, my markers and pens were misplaced everywhere in the school. If I would list the things I've forgotten, below is a clear list:

  1. Markers and Pens
  2. Students' and my personal flash drives
  3. Personal Headphones (recently lost my earpods)
  4. Unable to recall important documents needed to complete (spends lots of time to rethink what did I missed)
  5. Staff ID card
  6. Wallet
  7. Phone
  8. Bible
  9. Ties (awkwardly I lost them when I was shopping in the mall alone)
  10. Meeting notes. (reluctantly to take notes because of a rough day)
  11. Many More
Perhaps today, I need to change my daily routine. I need to get things organized orderly so that I will not go through all the unnecessary "lost and found" session. Like how she and my dad always reminded me, We are responsible to the actions we take each and everyday, moreover that we are accountable and responsible before our Lord Jesus Christ.

Grateful that I still remember who I am,
Dave.

(The words were not exactly what she said, but it was roughly what I could remember)
